The Customer
Bill Gray’s has been a valued partner of Monroe Kitchen Equipment for many years. For this project, they needed a custom-built metal solution to support the functionality and efficiency of their bar area at their new Webster, NY location.
The Problem
Bill Gray’s required specialized metal fabrication to create a custom beer tap center island during their new restaurant build. The specialized drain system at this location required a tailored solution that met both functional and aesthetic standards. With a strict project timeline, this build required a quick and efficient completion in coordination with CP KELLY.
The Monroe Kitchen Equipment Solution
The Monroe Kitchen Equipment team designed and fabricated a custom beer trough system, built specifically to fit Bill Gray’s center island drain system. For this time-sensitive project, our experts employed precision waterjet cutting, TIG welding, a 250-ton press brake, and expert polishing to create a high-quality, durable, and attractive stainless steel finished product.
Our team worked closely with the project’s general contractor, C.P. Kelly, to coordinate an ideal installation time that would not disrupt the workflow of the build. The custom metal fabrication was completed within a concise project timeline, starting in early July and completing by August 2, 2025.
The Result
The completed beer tap center island is sleek and highly functional. The custom-built stainless steel trough system catches any spilled beer directly from the taps, draining efficiently and eliminating the need for constant cleanup. This upgrade not only keeps the bar area cleaner but also dramatically improves bartending workflow and productivity.
Bill Gray’s was thrilled with the results, stating that they “love it—it looks great and works even better.” The new Webster location now features a centerpiece bar system that combines functionality, durability, and polished design.
