Monroe Kitchen Equipment: From Stainless Steel to the Racing Track

When you think of Monroe Kitchen Equipment, you probably picture gleaming stainless steel, precision fabrication, custom kitchens, and NSF-certified excellence. Based in Western New York, Monroe Kitchen has built a reputation for producing top-quality custom stainless steel kitchen equipment—everything from food truck fixtures to commercial cabinets, waterjet cutting, exhaust hoods, and clean-room components.

On a recent August day at Watkins Glen, Monroe Kitchen Equipment made a different kind of statement: stepping into the world of NASCAR’s Xfinity Series, sponsoring the #4 Chevrolet driven by Parker Retzlaff in The Mission 200 at The Glen on August 9, 2025.

Expanding Presence into Big Leagues

While Monroe Extinguisher (your sister company) has sponsored modified cars at tracks like Spencer Speedway and Lancaster Speedway over the years, this was Monroe Kitchen’s first foray into the Xfinity Series. It’s a big leap from regional and local tracks to national exposure.

Local & National Exposure

The Glen is in New York State—a chance for a New York-based company to shine close to home, in front of regional fans. But it’s also part of a national series, broadcast and followed by fans across the U.S. So the sponsorship can deliver both local pride and broader branding impact.

Monroe Kitchen Equipment’s sponsorship of the #4 Chevrolet with Parker Retzlaff at The Mission 200 was more than just slapping a name on a race car. It was a declaration: that the company is ready to compete at higher levels, to put its precision, quality, and craftsmanship in front of a bigger audience. The race didn’t end with a trophy, but it did end with a marker for what might be coming next. For Monroe Kitchen—as for Parker Retzlaff—the track is now one more arena in which to sharpen, push forward, and prove what they can do.
